Philana Marie Boles (Author) was born in Toledo and fell in love with reading and writing as a child. While in high school at Toledo’s St. Ursula Academy, she wrote and produced stage plays and musicals. She later received her BFA in creative Writing and Theater from Bowling Green State University. Her books include themes of developing independence, the true meaning of friendship, and finding yourself. Now living in a suburb of New York, Philana writes and travels the country speaking and inspiring others.
